How do I choose the perfect pet carrier?

Shopping for a small pet carrier is similar to shopping for luggage, except for the fact that you are holding a live animal. Measuring your small dog to insure the proper size of the carrier is the key factor. Your dog needs to have enough room to turn around in and when in doubt a little extra space
is always better. In addition, if traveling on an airline, a pet owner needs to be aware of the proper dimensions allowed to bring the animal as a carry-on.
